MEET THE MAN
BEHIND THE MUSIC

 

Steve Saari has performed at the piano for audiences across North America, Europe, Asia, and the high seas. Originally from Wisconsin, Steve completed his training at the prestigious Juilliard School after earning degrees in music and performance from Belmont University and the University of Wisconsin at Madison. 

In New York City, Steve performed onstage in the
off-Broadway productions of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change and Forbidden Broadway, in cabaret venues such as Merkin Hall and the Metropolitan Room, and as “Liberace” in the original show he conceived and co-wrote with Broadway lyricist Bill Russell, Mister Fabulous. He has worked with a range of stars including Vince Gill, Sandi Patti, Tommy Tune, Martin Short, Cindy Crawford, and the world famous Radio City Rockettes.

Steve toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, South Korea, and Thailand
with The Continental Orchestra and has performed worldwide aboard Princess and Azamara Cruise Lines.  Also an accomplished musical director, composer, and accompanist, Steve’s credits include Broadway and national tours, The New York Pops at Carnegie Hall,
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Royal
Caribbean International. 

His debut solo recording, Variations On a Theme, was produced by Waddell Productions/Soapbox
